Help Car 09 “IndigArt” raise funds for the Endeavour Foundation

The 2011 Great Endeavour Rally – Goondiwindi to The Gold Coast via The Golden West– 12th to 21st July

About Great Endeavour Rally:

Over the past 22 years, Great Endeavour has seen all walks of life participate in this unique event. Husbands and wives, brothers and sisters, mates, girlfriends and the never ending list goes on.
The Great Endeavour Rally course offers plenty of excitement and challenges, while the Cruise course will spend all of its time on good roads, using the extra time to visit and enjoy many fascinating towns and sights en-route.
There is always one common cause - helping Endeavour Foundation raise as much money and awareness as possible, to provide opportunities for people with a disability.
The Endeavour Foundation is a Queensland based charity and is Australia’s largest not for profit organisation providing support, care, training and work opportunities for people with an intellectual disability.  Endeavour operates more than 225 service sites to support over 3,000 individuals with an intellectual disability.  More information on the vital services provided by Endeavour can be found at the website http://www.endeavour.com.au/  

Endeavour relies heavily on public support to assist with its ongoing viability.  Government Funds are simply not enough to allow the organisation to fund its services.  For this reason, Endeavour undertakes fundraising through a range of different events, one of which is the Great Endeavour Rally.  This year between 12th and 21st July the rally travels approximately 5000 kilometers from Goondiwindi to The Gold Coast via The Golden West.  More information can be found at http://www.greatendeavour.com.au/  Approximately 120 vehicles participate in the rally each year and it raises approximately $250,000 annually for Endeavour.
Last year was a record year with $420 000 Raised.

For the Third year running, “IndigArt” CQID’s Indigenous Art shop in Rockhampton will be entering a car in the rally.

Our theme this year is again “Indigenous Art” and we will be show casing our regions Artists along the way.

How can you help?
As part of participating, each team is required to raise funds to donate to Endeavour.  We are seeking donations and holding fund raising events to assist our team in reaching a substantial donation.  All monetary donations are made payable direct to Endeavour Foundation and no funds are retained by us. 
A copy of our authority letter from Endeavour to fund raise on their behalf is available on request.
